Blazer5 Gaming Earns Final Spot in 2020 NBA 2K League Playoffs

Blazer5 Gaming, the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers, defeated 2019 NBA 2K League Champion T-Wolves Gaming, on Saturday August 15 to win the NBA 2K League’s third and final in-season tournament – THE TICKET.

With their victory, Blazer5 Gaming earned the 10th and final spot in the 2020 NBA 2K League Playoffs.

2019 NBA 2K League MVP Blazer5 Gaming point guard Nidal “Mama Im Dat Man” Nasser was named tournament MVP, averaging 33.0 points and 10 assists.  2018 NBA 2K League MVP and center Dayne “OneWildWalnut” Downey added 9.2 points per game and 18 rebounds per game while veteran Stanley “MaJes7ic” LeBron added 21.8 points per game throughout the tournament.

  • Game 2: Blazer5 Gaming 86 – T-Wolves Gaming 55
  • Game 3: Blazer5 Gaming 66 – T-Wolves Gaming 59

The 2020 NBA 2K League Playoffs will take place Thursday, Aug. 20 and Friday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. ET and Saturday, Aug. 22 at 2:30 p.m. ET, and culminate with the 2020 NBA 2K League Finals on Saturday, Aug. 29.

All Playoffs and Finals games will air live on the NBA 2K League’s Twitch channel.  ESPN2 will air games live Friday, Aug. 21 from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. ET and Saturday, Aug. 22 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. ET.  Select games will air live on ESPN’s digital platforms and the NBA 2K League’s YouTube channel, and on delay on eGG Network in Southeast Asia.  Dash Radio’s Nothin’ But Net channel will also provide live coverage of the tournament.
