The team also announced some more names that have been added to the roster and more improvements to career mode, with more emphasis on the story element. They added plenty of animation improvements, including more variations to different player serves, back hands, top spins and mannerisms.

The developers also mention they have overhauled the gameplay mechanics and movement and have a new fabric system, to emulate real cloth physics.

In AO Tennis 2, tennis fans can take themselves from the outside courts to centre-stage glory in the all-new narrative-driven career mode. For the first time in AO Tennis, success for a young talented player depends as much on external events as great play on the court, which provides deeper immersion into the world of professional tennis.

AO Tennis 2 releases on January 9, 2020 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Speaking of the Nintendo Switch, it will have all of the features included, so you won’t miss out on anything.
