Earlier this afternoon, All Elite Wrestling teased an upcoming announcement for what seems to be an AEW video game. On November 10 at 6:00 PM ET, the team will reveal the news at a special event, that can be seen on multiple social media platforms.
Rumors have swirled about an upcoming AEW video game for quite some time. In fact, Josh wrote about it back in September 2019, and Phil followed it up with another article in March of this year, teasing the game could use some form of the fan-favorite AKI engine.
If it is video game related, one would assume the game would be developed by Yukes and arrive on next-gen consoles. With WWE 2K21 canceled, wresting fans are itching for a new game, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
Interestingly, AEW referee Aubrey Edwards, has this quote in her Twitter bio.
“I yell at wrestlers, I co-host a podcast, and I make video games for @AEW.“
Whatever the news is, we’ll know it on November 10.
